Our Partnership

In the fall of 2008, a group of faith and community leaders joined around a table and began discussing how they could reach out to leaders from political, media, business, education and faith institutions, and invite them to engage in a community-wide dialogue that would explore partnerships and collaborations, and address a variety of community health issues. Months later, a planning committee was formed and co-chairs were identified. Transcending Boundaries: Improving the Health of Our Community is the by-product of this partnership.
