SERVICE DELIVERY PLAN
The Network compiles information on the regional impact of the epidemic, medical and support services, information resources, and findings of needs assessments conducted to identify service gaps and priorities for service system development. The Service Delivery Plan (SDP) is revised on a periodic basis. The Network’s listing of service gaps and priorities is reviewed annually and revised as necessary to reflect system changes and/or newly-identified concerns. A companion Resource Directory identifies HIV/AIDS services and additional programs that address HIV/AIDS within a broader mission. The Resource Directory is updated on a more frequent basis.
NETWORK POLICY PAPERS
The Network develops policy statements and reports on priority service continuum issues from time to time. These materials generally arise from committee-level deliberations. In some instances committees invite other community resources to participate in deliberation, share perspectives and recommend responses for committee consideration. On other occasions Survey and information-gathering instruments are used to obtain information from the community. Once committee deliberations have been completed, draft statements are forwarded to the Steering Committee for consideration and endorsement. Several recent examples include the following:
- Service Continuum Concerns: 2007
- Mental Health System Resource & Access Barriers for HIV-Positive Clients (5/14/08)
