CNYHSA Executive Director

CNYHSA is a non-profit entity organized for the purpose of providing effective health planning and development in Central New York. It is guided by a Board of Directors representing a cross-section of consumers, providers, employers, government, and community service representatives. CNYHSA also manages the "Ryan White" Central New York HIV Care Network and administers two rental assistance programs.

The agency carries out its mission through the provision of consulting and technical services including research, data collection, analysis and various business ventures. CNYHSA also works with volunteers, board members, health care and business coalitions, community groups, provider organizations and local and state government and provides staff support for planning and programming.

CNYHSA provides technical assistance on issues such as divestiture; restructuring and diversification; service delivery models; quality improvement assurance; program feasibility; managed care; computer programming and information system design; surveys of program priorities and service needs; expenditure studies and utilization patterns; organization of case management services; variations in referral and practice patterns; and special care needs.

CNYHSA has extensive information resources, and has expertise with methods of data collection, planning research, and using information and other web-based resources to analyze service needs, utilization behavior, and health status concerns.
